Reset Hand Recognition without Sofort

Hello 👋
I would like to reset my Hand Recognition as it’s not working reliably.

iDEAL doesn’t work in Germany, so my only option is to use Sofort.

Sofort requires to give my login of my bank account(!) and a tan(!) to a service I know nothing about. I would rather not do that.

Did I miss something or does this mean I can’t reset the hand recognition?

They can help you out. Sofort is indeed a bit iffy, for most banks you need to enter your banking details. Luckily better days are coming, when you pay through Sofort with bunq you only need to scan a QR and confirm. But with other banks you are still dependent on the old way typically.
