For now ABN AMRO is my primary account. Each month I transfer part of my money to Bunq and use it for daily payments and direct debits. My intention was to leave ABN AMRO in a few months but after I started moving my direct debits to Bunq I got cold feet. I did two verification payments thru iDEAL and my account was frozen. Contacted support but they couldn't tell me anything, I had to wait. Later that day my account was available again, unfortunately never got a reason and support responds rather vague to my requests for explanation.
There are some other reasons why I keep my ABN AMRO account. One is iDIN which sometimes is required for identification purposes. The other travel. I travel a lot to countries where they have "offline" payment terminals, haven't had much luck with my Bunq cards so far...
So maybe one day Bunq will be my primary and sole bank account, but for now it just wouldn't work.
