I use a bunch of accounts for all kind of purpose. I know use the account name to describe the purpose but that is a small text field. Maybe an extra description field which you can use to describe the use for this account or put other info instead of having a very large account name. Especially when you have connect on that account it's easier for the other connected users why this account is...

I personally hate long names... so in my case I made sure that the account image is telling the story ;)

But I can see that it can be handy to add a description. Let's see what other bunqers think of this👍

Yes! If you reserve money for a certain purpose this would be great. Put in the title what the purpose is and put in the description how you came to the amount and explain it. E.g.: “In month x I have to pay y and z.“
A description or subtitle would be nice!
Also long titles can't be viewed (after 20 symbols i can only see "..."), and i agree with John Do , I hate long names ;)

Another example: a household account to save for electronics-replacements where you put monthly an amount of money in, but how is that amount calculated? a simple description field could store that.

Or joint accounts where you put the agreed terms of that account: what it will pay and what not.

Probably some more examples over here, anyone? 😉

I'd like to see descriptions as well, I think they can be useful! For example, I've created a bunch of accounts today for budgetting purposes. One of my budgets is 'Subscriptions'. In this case, it would be nice to list all my active subscriptions in the description to keep a neat overview of my expenses. I can also see this being useful for other (budgeting) accounts.

Great idea! Especially for shared accounts it would be nice to add a description with the purpose of the account and under what conditions it should be used.
