Unfortunately, Tap & Pay does not work on my Galaxy S10. The device is not rooted, NFC enabled. If I hold the device for payment to the terminal, the smartphone displays an error message, in the Bunq app itself nothing is displayed. Bunq -App has been uninstalled and reinstalled. Also Tap & Pay within the app disabled and re-enabled - to no avail. I have never had a problem with other Android smartphones. Incidentally, NFC tags and chips from Mastercards can be read from the S10 with corresponding Android apps (eg NFC readers). NFC seems to be so intact on the smartphone.
Tasman For Samsung phones must necessarily be checked in the settings whether bunq also the default app and the following setting: settings links NFC and payment Touch the three dots in the upper right corner and select Standard NFC method Select Android OS
.. then it should work.
Tasman In general, it is also advisable to use the Tap & Pay Widget and thus first release the payment and then tap the terminal, or you simply uses Google Pay should you be from Germany.
Hey John, thank you for the quick reply. Have it, as described by you, changed over. Will tell if the next payment process was successful. Live in Austria, there is still no Google Pay available.

Tasman That's a shame, what went wrong when you tried it this way?
Sometimes it helps if you throw all other NFC apps off the device and reset Tap & Pay.
I'll keep testing and basically it's not that bad, maybe Google Pay will come to Austria soon ?!
Tasman That would be great, of course, but now we will start with Apple Pay and only so towards the end of the year;) What concerns something like that, we are unfortunately really quite behind :(
Tasman What do you get for an error message? I use Tap & Pay daily without any problems :)
So, again a feedback: have the S10 back to factory settings, now works Tap & Pay perfectly.
