Well I love the back of the card, the classy black color. But I feel like a LGBT ambassador with the rainbow when I’m waving my card to pay. Even got some questions from a cassier; don’t like it. Would love to personsalize my card like at ING here in the Netherlands.

We stand out just like our card - vibrant, different, unconventional 🌈. At the same time we understand users will have different wants and needs for the appearance of their cards. Was in the US last week and got so many compliments about the card I wouldn’t be able to count them on my 10 fingers.

However, I’m still hoping that there will be an option for a ‘classy’ vs ‘colourful’ card. I would love a card in the N26 shiny black style, but then with small colour letters ‘bunq’ written on it.

I agree, a total black version looks nice. However the colorful one really differentiate bunq!

I don’t want to be linked to the LGBT support community that’s right. That does not mean I don’t support them, it means that I don’t agree of the way they handle things.

That’s the whole problem, as soon as you criticize movements like Black Lifes Matter or the LGBT you’re instantly labeled as racist, anti-LGBT or something like that. But that’s a whole different discussion ofcourse; the point is is that I don’t like the rainbowcolors on the card because of it’s strong connection to LGBT like movements

It doesn't have to be completely black, I have made a very quick mock-up to show that a black card can still look 'bunq-ish':

Obviously the mastercard/maestro logo is missing and you can't really see how shiny the card is etc, but I'd love something like this. It looks more professional, but still quite playful and not very 'over the top'.

It could be helpful to better differentiate your own cards better, without losing the colors...

But different shades of black would be also cool.

It'd be awesome to be able to choose from a selection of cards. These colours look cool too Simon. Personally I would like a black card as mastercard and a colourful one for maestro... don't even ask my why ;)

I think Monzo and Revolut get it. The rainbow is limiting bunq’s brand visually. I would pay for a better quality card with a more minimal design.
