René The difference is in cases such as rental cars or hotel rooms. The debit card cannot be used to block a certain amount by the rental company or the hotel. The travel card does offer this function. However in contrast to a „true“ credit card you need to have the funds in your account in advance.

I see the Travel Card 💳 as the next level Mastercard with as main feature that it will be much more accepted, making is a true worldwide card 💳. So great job bunq 🌈 ❕

I personally think the regular Mastercard option can be fully replaced by the new Travel Card 💳.

I can’t order it. It only says to order a debit card, mastercard or maestro and not the travel card...

Make sure you have the app version 10.12.0, and a Premium, Joint or Business membership.

Go to the cards tab > Swipe to the right > Order a new card > bunq Credit Travel Card.

Wissem that won't matter; in case you ordered three cards already (irregardless of their current status) then the Travel Card comes with production costs.
