I really liked the previous logo too. In fact there's a whole chapter about it in 'Breken met Banken' - the book that was written about our birth.
However from the early beginning readability has been a huge problem. I heard 'buna' so many times I wanted to tear my hair out :).... This logo is a bit less creative but it scored best in readability - by a huge margin.
I dream of a day where bunq is so successful that it's so well recognised that we can bring the old logo back. The intrinsic story about bunq really is that we're in this quest for change together. Therefore the hand in hand thing should find it's way back in our logo, some day.
