Knowing that iOS 13 will come with a Dark Mode huilt in, I would like to see the Bunq app linked to my iPhone’s Dark Mode. I know this is a bit early, but maybe not too early to start asking for it to be developed someday 😋
Anyways, thanks for an already great app!
lucasilverentand Same counts for Android Q :)
johannes Yes that would be amazing! 😊
That would be awesome! 🌈
But there is already a Dark Mode built in the app!
profile-> security&settings -> Dark Mode🌚
Maarten-Silver-Penguin Yeah, but he want that it’s linked to iOS. So if iOS goes dark, bunq goes dark too. So not having to separate settings, use the same setting system wide.
On my iPhone the bunq app automatically turns on dark mode depending on the time of day/night.
They can’t implement this yet as they need to link against the iOS 13 UIKit framework. They can only submit the app version after the iOS 13 GM is released.
It’s done; dark mode is now set by/trough iOS 😃. And the settings in the bunq app are gone.
Unfortunately, some errors have crept in here in the dark mode. When switching from dark to light, there are certain elements in the app that are not switched to bright, but remain dark.
DominikSebald Which elements are these? Can’t reproduce the problem?
DominikSebald Are you on iOS 13.1?
DominikSebald Just an example: the maps
DominikSebald That's an iOS 13.1 specific bug which we cannot fix yet, because iOS 13.1 is in beta still
Andreas Sorry to disturb, but it‘s happening on iOS 13 GM, too.
The keyboard in bunq is dark, too. Never activated dark mode since the update, so there is clearly a bug.
Oh noes!!!!! Pleas bring the dark mode back to the app too!!!
The dark mode is better for me as I have poor sight and have trouble reading the grey letters on a white background. Therefore I prefer the bunq app to be in dark mode on every time of the day, opposed to my iPhone.
Samzoiets I want to switch it by myself too.
I would also like the possibility to change it myself with an addition of pure black mode (oled)
