Hi,
Is it possible to use fingerprint to authenticate paying with android nfc? I found out that when i need to authenticate i can only use pincode..
Also: i changed the amount from 1 euro to 25 (limit) but the next payment (2 euro), i again needed to enter pincode. Will this new limit be for tomorrow?
Thanks!
Hey Eric,
The first one is a great idea, and I'll add this to the wishlist for just that 👍
For your second question: It should work straight away, I'll send you a message in the support chat so we can figure out what happened.
I Already use fingerprint on Samsung S6 and S8... Strange wish
I dont have the option on huawei p9, altough i have a fingerprint reader! How do you do it?
If the app says that I have to do Verification... I scan my fingerprint. That's all. But Huawei Smartphones have problems with some banking apps, so maybe it's typical for your model. Maybe it get a fix from the app or Huawei for it. But at the moment, bunq uses CDCVM and the app can already use fingerprint too for verification
You can use fingerprint all the time in this case. But I can understand the confusion because the user interface doesn't suggest you can.
But more important, this extra authorization step is annoying and from my standpoint even a unnecessary extra step.
Hm, thats weird, even that Koen didnt mention that! I tried using it today at albert heijn and didnt work (tried several times)!
Indeed. Makes no sense to unlock first the phone to use the app and then again the payment.
Ok lets try again tomorrow, thanks guys! Does anyone have a huawei and problems at the albert heijn?
Some Terminals can still not handle CDCVM. In this case you have to use card
It are yomani mu type readers (google for picture). I thought they were ready
And don't forget... the security factor and risk apatite lies in the fact you can set app timeout and max amount per day. So, I wonder why bunq build in an extra and bit invasive security step.
And... to be completely honest.. T&P has absolutely improved last few updates. It's getting there eventually..
