I would like bunq to enable me to edit the name(s) that is shown when making a transaction from an en/of account. And not show only the name of the person who took the initiative.
Thanks Stefan!
At this moment we have it like this because at bunq, you can open a joint account with a lot of people in 1 account. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep improving! Thanks for the feedback. π
I know this is an important reason for some people to use an en/of account. Especially with the more and more common triangle-scams on online purchases, you want to be sure the name of the account matches the name of the person you're dealing with.
Yes for me as well a big wish, cause my girlfriend wants to go to another bank for our en/of account if she canβt be mentioned.. π¬
+1 for me too
Let her create the joint account? Then she will be mentioned π
Same here, we really need to edit the name or, at least, have both/all names mentioned.
Why do you need it? Maybe we can think of a workaround.
Because we would like to fully switch to bunq and need both legal owners in transaction that we make.
Well, you will both be legal owners. The name on the account will be "[your name] JC" this is a bit unusual in NL, but absolutely legally binding. I have this too with my girlfriend and it's never a problem.
Yeah I totally understand it, but the name is still important as my girlfriend needs to make transactions from the shared account. And payment recipients (unfortunately / still) need the name to identify the payer.
Really? What company does this? I thought companies aren't allowed to demand this.
No company, but we still need to send money to private people. E.g. we are not sending the rent to a company. Sometime we pay things online and send money to strangers etc. - there are some situations.
As far as I know when you pay from a Joint account it will show "[Name of payment initiator] CJ".
Yeah it does, just tried it out. So itβs not as bad as I thought. I still would like to see a different solution. π
