It’s a pretty common experience: you’re paying for something online in the browser on your phone, and you need to enter your bunq card details. So you return to the home screen, open bunq, navigate to cards, find the card you want, copy the card number, switch back to the browser, paste the card number. Then switch again to get other details and switch back.
This is quite a few steps 😔
It would be awesome if the bunq app could include an action extension for auto-filling card details in the browser (primarily Safari, but Google Chrome should work too I believe). I imagine it would work similar to the way the 1Password action extension works (which can also fill credit card numbers, but I have to manually enter them from bunq first).
With an action extension, it would go more like this: You’re in the browser, and need to enter you card details. You tap the share button, choose the bunq action extension (skipping the fact that the first time you have to enable the extension 🙃), it pops up and authenticates you with FaceID, Touch ID or passcode, presents a list of cards to auto fill, you tap one, and bam: the card number, name, expiry date, and CVC are automatically entered into the correct fields for you 🥳
I think this is a feature that would save bunqers a lot of time.
And though I’m an iOS user, I’m assuming it would be possible to add an equivalent feature to the Android app for auto filling in Chrome as well.
Thanks for reading 😊 🙏🏻
