For some recipients it would be useful to disable the automatic VAT transfer. For example, we make payments to Poland and China and no VAT is charged on that. Currently, the VAT is being settled and that gives a distorted picture 🙏
De-Sfeerhaard-BV-Pink-Butterfly The Automatic VAT only works when receiving money and not when making payments to others?
At the moment you cannot arrange this per payer. The official solution of bunq is to use a different bank account and to deposit it with that second bank account.
JeroenE Yes, he has recently started doing this with payments. Your tip is a good one by the way!
De-Sfeerhaard-BV-Pink-Butterfly Aha, learned something again! Apparently you also have to create a separate bank account for outgoing payments per VAT percentage.
That is why we do not yet use automatic VAT transfers. It is a handy idea in principle, but not fully thought out yet and we are not going to use two extra bills - that will quickly become messy and unclear and Bunq did not want to achieve that with this feature. I hope they make it possible to decide per relationship quickly.
Salary payments also have nothing to do with VAT. You must then always correct the automatic VAT settlement
