I have written a python script that does the following:
- goes through a JSON with transactions and checks if it is revenue or expenses
- categorizes these into categories that I have specified / created
- shows a percentage of total income
I managed to do this without using the API, but I want to use it in the end. What I do now is I export my transactions in CSV, I change them in JSON and with this I execute the script. Because these are all my transactions, I can see in another table what the current balance on my account is (here no screenshot of: P).
example of last few transactions:
The categories are not "hard coded" in the script, I have created a separate JSON with my categories, so if I add or remove one, you will also see t in the table. And if there is a transaction that does not fall under a category, then it is added to "Other".
What I want to add is that you get the possibility to specify 2 dates of which you can see the category table.
I would like to receive tips on functions that I could add and whether you might be interested in something like this or whether I should keep it to myself.
