I’ve recently set up Bunq, when asked for additional security I chose passphrase.
I’ve recently been given access to another group and to verify my access I need to enter my passphrase.
My passphrase is 100% correct (it is extremely memorable), however after submitting it in the ‘pop up’ request window it simply minimises and then reappears asking for my passphrase again (over and over and over). No other messages or actions occur, just pop down and pop up.
When I enter it wrong on purpose it states it’s incorrect, and will eventually put me in time out (5 minutes) after too many tries.
When I go to reset/change my passphrase it states I need to complete an identity check to do so and make a 0.10c payment. However I cannot do this as I do not have a bank in any of the mandatory countries (Germany, Spain, Italy etc). That’s the reason I created a Bunq account in the first place.
When I try to switch to Hand Recognition to use it instead it asks me to enter my passphrase! Which again simply minimises and then reappears asking for my passphrase again (over and over and over). No other messages or actions occur, just pop down and pop up.
All Bunq support has done to help me with this passphrase issue is suggest hand recognition (I can’t do without the passphrase working) or sent me a link on how to reset the passphrase, which involves the identity step which I can’t do without the account.
Any ideas or do I just jump to TransferWise/Anna etc? Does anyone have experience with these?
