Philip I shop for 100 euro a week, which equals 5k euro a year. That’s 100 trees. If a tree is 1 euro, then that’s the price already covered. Truth is, I will spend a lot more cause I’ll also pay all my flights and holidays on my card, probably coming close to 200-300 trees a year. Not bad for 99 euro.
Then there’s the production cost of the card, the operational costs for those that only get a card without subscription, shipping costs, etc.
I’m not a fan of the pricing model (paying annually), but I can imagine now why the price is as high as it is.
As someone said before, you’re an early adapter. Benefits may come later. Not everything will be fine tuned yet. Give it some time.
