Hello Bunqers,
I have now, after persuading my mother to create a Bunq account to authorize me, applied for a Bunq Travelcard myself. Since she has her own account after the procedure, she didn't want to do this at first. In order to spare other teenagers who might experience similar things with their parents, I would suggest the following:
The parent no longer has to create a Bunq account, but only download the Bunq app and click on an icon to scan the code to authorise the child. Then he can confirm his identity, his email address and allow the child to create a Bunq account.
But why should the email be confirmed if the parent doesn't want to create an account? It's simple. So that later, if the parent has changed their mind, the consent can easily be recalled.
Of course, it is less profitable if two people have to be verified for an account opening, but it might make it possible for people to open an account at Bunq first.
