Gabrie bunq doesn't have a "WorldCard". bunq offers;
- debit Mastercard
- credit Mastercard (also called "Travelcard")
- Metal credit Mastercard (also called "Green card")
The different between the debit and the creditcards is that the acceptance of the creditcard is slightly better as the terminals recognise it as an actual creditcard. The debitcard sometimes ran into acceptance problems with car rentals, hotels, etc. That should be better with the Travelcard + Green card. Both debit and credit function exactly the same; you need to have sufficient funds in order to pay, and you can not spend more than your accounts' balance. Keep in mind that deposits are taken from your balance! So when renting a car make sure to have sufficient balance to also pay the deposit; this money is returned after returning the car then. In the meanwhile you can not spend the money that has been set aside for the deposit.
The Travelcard and Greencard are basically identical, apart from the material. The Greencard furthermore allows you to plant a tree for every β¬100,- you spend. Both are recognised as creditcard when you use it, but for the customer still functions as a debit card. π
