John Do Great! i was thinking about doing the same thing since ACM should provide us with a clear answer. Keep us posted!!
Although i am quite familiar with the new PSD2 rules (I'm working at Mollie, a dutch PSP and our compliance department keeps us well updated)
Also i'm not challenging the fact bunq CAN charge a fee; i'm challenging the fact that bunq charges it to the paying party, which in case of a consumer does not comply with the PSD2. as long as a consumer pays and the consumer gets charged for the payment method is does not matter WHO charges the fee.
I would be more than happy to pay the fee myself as long as i am in control and can set it per-bunq.me-request.
Jeroen π³οΈβπ I believe thats the whole point. The EU wants to bust open the credit card marked by making surcharging illegal both online and at the terminal, as well as limiting fees, consumer wise a couple of nice years are coming.
