It is only possible to let the app lock itself after 0 minutes, 5 minutes or longer.
When using the app, you often have to switch to other apps and get data. For example when paying a bill, you switch to your email to read the IBAN number or the amount you have to pay.
Or you are writing a support request and try to find something in another app or webpage to incorporate in the support request.
It is most save to have the app lock soon as possible. In this that would only be in “0” minutes. Why not add the 1 minute option. This is long enough to being able and have a look outside of the Bunq app, get data and return to the Bunq app.
Also, often, when switching outside of the Bunq app, the thing you were doing in the bunq app is canceled / closed. So when I return to the Bunq app, I can start all over again.
In my ING bank app, the procedure is kept on hold, which gives me the possibility to use the data I just retrieved outside of the app and finish the payment or monthly booking or search for a certain payment.
In short, the thing you are doing should be kept in memory / cache when exiting the Bunq app and be immediately available when I return so I can finish it. Of course there can be a time limit to this, ING app has this as well.
(Sorry for revering to the competition, but it is a very clear and concise working app with some handy things that could make the Bunq app even better 😉)
