I collect coins in a deposit in my car. At the end of the month I take all the money and it goes into my piggy bank.
The same would be interesting when the salary is received. Often (which should be the ideal case) there is still money in the account that was not spent when the salary was received. This could be transferred automatically to a separate account, and you start again every month. It could very well "dupe yourself" and save even more money.
Pierre-Blue Hummingbird Good idea.
But I always do it in such a way that I know the current account balance (before receiving the money) and then quickly calculate myself:
Transfer = current account balance - salary
500 = 3000 - 2500
This is exactly where my problem lies. For me, the incoming money is dynamic and sometime in the last 7 days of the month.
It is already there on the 23rd; - only on 29 And it is a bit tedious to always be in wait: D
Pierre-Blue-Hummingbird Do you have an iPhone or Android? If you have an iPhone, you may be able to tinker with Siri Shortcuts
Roeshimi I've already tried that. Unfortunately, that didn't work.
Pierre-Blue-Hummingbird Achso? Did the shortcut not run at all or did it not do what you wanted?
Roeshimi the former. Hence the post here.
Pierre-Blue-Hummingbird OK. Have you tried a complex shortcut directly or something simple like "check account balance" or something? Did that work?
Roeshimi I tried something simple at first, but was then sofort lost.
This would be super useful. Bunq makes it easy to turn yearly payments into monthly ones by setting up planned transfers to a subaccount for 1/12 of the amount. But how much money will remain at the end of the month, after all the planned transfers are completed?
Being able to see planned transfers and the predicted account balance after each would be a huge win.
In my opinion, this idea is ideal for keeping you on your budget and not throwing away your remaining money from last month.
Please, https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/e4825cb4b8444d1e9b874d855d9bb3c5 , made and tested a few days ago. You just have to choose your own accounts, take over this automation and enter your own date and you're done! If you have any questions, I will hear.
Johan83 Sounds super handy to me, but the biggest problem for me is security. I must then have the app longer without a password. Now the app logs out automatically.
Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to link the API to shortcuts. (I read somewhere that this was possible)
I'm making an even simpler version with a list of accounts, so that the shortcut becomes shorter and clearer when I have it, I try to share it with you.
How long have you been open for it?
Johan83 I now have it for 0 seconds. This is because I unlock the app with Face ID and that goes so super that I want all apps with important info to be closed immediately.
With this assignment you can choose the next time period.
Is the most simple solution for you not simply to create a new bank account, get the salary deposited on that and then automatically sort out the payment. The remainder will stay in your new bank account.
R Apologies, I misunderstood your initial message and understand what you mean now.
To me, I personally don’t have the same wish, but I do think it would be nice if bunq added a few more options to the sort feature, to make it a bit more of an ITTT.
Okay, yes then unfortunately it doesn't work yet.
