JeroenE Strongly agree Jeroen. The "average" Dutch person pays almost all fixed charges in a different way than with a payment card. Normally, fixed costs such as rent, health insurance, etc. are paid by direct debit, iDeal or bank transfer. Also, online purchases in web shops by Dutch consumers often use IDeal and not a credit card. For groceries in many supermarkets it is still not possible to pay with a credit card, only with Maestro. Fortunately, thanks to Bunq , we Bunq now plant trees with a maestro card. I think it would help Dutch customers much more if trees are also planted if they make direct debit and IDeal payments with the Super Green account, because these payments are common and often involve larger amounts.
