While you can do online shopping with your Metal Card, Maestro Debit or Mastercard credit card- the best way to shop online is with our DigiCards.
With Easy Money and Easy Green 🌳 you can have a total of 25 DigiCards at the same time, for free. You get these DigiCards in addition to your 3 free physical cards, so they'll not count towards your limit for physical cards. This will keep you going for a while, for sure! Not enough? You can add 25 extra DigiCards to your account for only €19,99 per month. 🙌
At bunq we want to give you the freedom to shop anywhere, anytime, without having to worry. In this time it's especially important to keep your online shopping experience safe. In case your card details are compromised, you can delete and recreate a DigiCard in seconds. No need to wait for a new physical card to arrive or for your bank to process any paperwork. With the bunq app, you simply use the card you need, when you need it.
Fun fact: all your DigiCards have the same CVC code, daily limit and expiry date, however you can generate new CVC codes whenever you want as well as enabling the feature to automatically generate a new one to keep your money safe. This means that changing one will change all the others too. As an additional safety feature, you can alter the daily card limit in the app when you tap on your DigiCard, go to ‘Settings’ and press on ‘Daily limit’. This will then count for all your DigiCards, so you never spend more than intended.
