The most interesting part of this European ๐ช๐บ directive is that it forces consumers banks to open up their systems for other parties. Of course only with your permission. This opens a whole new world for parties as Spendee to create services that can be connected directly to your bank account! ๐.
For bunq this is nothing special or new. Because bunq already has such option for years with their API. In fact, they were the first (and still only) bank with a full fletch API to make it easy for other apps and services to connect with.
