why I have to pay 7,99€ for a premium membership? I didn’t choose the membership option anywhere.

Lea Bunq decided to discontinue Joint, Free, More and Black Friday Premium about 3 months ago. That’s when you were transferred to a 3-month fee trial period for Premium. These 3 months have now ended, so you’ll have to pay €7,99/month or join a Pack of another bunq customer for €5/month. Or downgrade to the free TravelCard (no accounts, no maestro, just the travelcard) subscription. (Unfortunately useless in the Netherlands)

Lea Sounds to me like you haven’t received it. You’re not the only one, there are a lot of topics created today on this issue. When the changes were made multiple people indicated they had received no word and had to find out here and through media. It would’ve been nice if bunq would have sent out emails again to make sure everyone received it, but I’m afraid it’s a bit too late for that now.

Let’s hope bunq will find a solution to properly solve this situation for everyone whose now facing a nasty surprise.
