How do I change the country of residence?

To be able to change the country you need to be actually in that country at the very moment. This is a safety limitation for some reasons. You can’t change country to Netherlands if you are in Spain.

But apparently changomg the country of residence is not the same as just changing the address. I change the address, from spain to Amsterdam. I am in Amsterdam. And still says I have to be in my current country of residence to be able to change the address. This makes me think that some place else, other than in the profile section, i have to change the country of residence

Carmen Can you try to make sure that on your phone location services are enabled and the bunq app is allowed to use location services in the privacy settings?

Also probably good idea to contact support anyway, to make sure your tax residency is set correctly.

Matteo Gabriele Hey Matteo, you could contact the Private Support and supply them with your information. But I'm not sure if they can change your information before it actually changes in real life.

Zajor And you are in France at the moment you try to change this? As far as I know you can only change country when you are actually there. So need to be in France when change address and country of residence. Otherwise ask Support.
