Hey bunqers,
Currently there is an issue at Mastercard, which is causing us to experience some problems with Android Tap & Pay.
This is why at the moment it is not possible to activate Tap & Pay, and in some cases not possible to use it for transactions.
- Normal card transactions and Apple Pay are not impacted by the problem.
- You can also still use Android Tap & Pay up to 10 times if you recently activated it.
After 10 transactions the bunq app will try to recharge with Mastercard, and due to the problems on their side this will currently fail.
We are in direct contact with Mastercard who is handling this with high priority. They'll come with a fix as soon as possible.
We will update this topic as soon as we have more information for you👍

Mastercard has resolved this issue and you should be able to enable Tap & Pay again🙂.
If you encounter a 'Wallet exists for this user and device' error, please uninstall the bunq app, re-install and re-enable Tap and Pay.
