When De-Selecting an Account in the new "Spending Insight" bubble, the insights get updated and first.
But when you then leave the "Spending Insight" overlay, the changes are not applied and the number in the bubble still contains the previously de-selected account. When clicking the bubble, the previously de-selected account is included in the spending insights again..
