Make contactless pay available for Secundairy IBAN

bunq already has this cool feature where you can set a secundairy pincode to use, so that the amount to pay gets deducted from another IBAN.

Also we can set the amount for contactless pay. Meaning when the amount to pay is higher then your settings, it requires a pincode (can be the pincode of your primary or secundairy IBAN.

I would like the ability to be able to set the amount to 0 (No, not deactivated as it is now).

This way, when I use contactless pay, it always requests a pincode. Now I’m always able to choice which pincode and therefor IBAN to use....instead to always put my card into the machine.

as far as I understood you are setting a daily limit for contact payments in the apps settings. It means, your PIN (while paying contactless) will always be required when you pay above 25€. Furthermore, you can only do contactless payments until you reach the amount you set in your setting.
I haven’t tried what happens when you set the limit to 1€ and do a contactless payment of 2€ - will it be denied? Do you have to enter your PIN? 🤔

However, I like your idea and you have my ✋.

@Phil, You’ll have to enter a PIN. So I want to force to always use a PIN by allowing 0 euro as a valid amount. 0 euro now means “deactivate NFC”.

I understand where you're coming from but I feel having to enter a PIN every time kind of defeats the benefits of contactless payments.

One way this could work is changing the cards themselves. By that I mean they could have a button to switch between their modes, i.e. if they should work for the first or the secondary account. And maybe a e-ink display to show the currently active mode.
I know that's not a trivial solution though

Roeshimi If it was implemented the way @T.V. Klaversma suggests it, there would be an option to keep it as it is (set it to 100€ or whatever) or to force a PIN on every contactless payment (set it to 0,00€ but still activate contactless payments) - the users would have a choice. :-)

Phil Sure. I know that I would not want to enter the PIN on every contactless payment, because it takes so much time. :)
