This also Depends on apple
When can we join for the bunq beta apple pay feature. Im ready!
There is a difference between making payments in stores and doing peer-to-peer payments through ApplePay, although it seems unlikely that they will launch the peer-to-peer service without the first service.
It would indeed be logical that apple will present many deals with banks in the coming weeks, as ios 11.1 also introduces imessage apple pay.
Given the price of Bunq compared to the rest, the costs of Apple Pay should simply be within the Bunq package. After all, it is an all-in-one package, so it would be strange if this would be a so-called add-on.
Haha, I’m sure there won’t be a beta. It there would be, count me in ;)
Rumors all over the place 'Apple Pay in November to the Netherlands via ING Bank and bunq ' https://www.iculture.nl/nieuws/apple-pay-nederland-ing-bank-bunq/
Bunq has obviously signed an NDA with apple. That it is so quiet here is hopefully a good sign :)
Apple pay will arrive in the Netherlands next month, but hope that bunq the first bank!
I would love tot see apple pay support Looks like we’ll know more in November. Beta testers needed? Let me know😊
Would be nice if it is available for everyone, including the "old customers".
I would find it more logical if, like the rest, it comes under premium.
Indeed so logical, under Premium just like Tap & Pay.
We have already added smaller features as Premium-only so I think it is not realistic to expect any new features in non-Premium accounts, let alone such a big feature as Apple Pay, and the fact that Apple alone a small fee will be paid for each transaction.
That sounds very logical indeed ....
I’m not sure the regional settings play a role in Apple Pay usage. I believe it’s only of matter during set-up.
I have no documentation to prove this, however in my experience I’m able to use my French Apple Pay card no matter what my phone’s region settings are.
When paying with Apple Pay when it is launched, how will a payment be listed in the Bunq App?
I think you have to connect you bunq passes with Apple Pay....
I think the same as Android Tap&Pay, as a virtual (Maestro) card.
You can connect that card to a monetary account.
The T&P payments are listed as a normal card payment.
