)Hi, I need to receive money from the state authorities in Romania, but they can only make a transfer in RON. Can they do that on a Bunq accoun? How could I check? Thanks!
Iulia Istrate You can only receive Euros on your bunq account. Other currency incoming transfers will bounce back.
You should however be able to use TransferWise to receive RON transfers from other people if you open a free multi-currency account with them. After that you could cash out to your bunq account in Euros. See their help page for information on that: https://transferwise.com/help/articles/2897238/which-currencies-can-i-have-balances-in
