Quick switch account of Tap & Pay

I've passively read and clapped to many suggestions here, but today I have a suggestion of my own. I tried searching for it, but found no similar suggestions.

I love the Tap & Pay, especially using the homescreen shortcut (Android). It's very convenient, cool and fast. But it'd be even more convenient, cool and fast if I could quickly switch accounts. I think this is one of the advantages of bunq; you don't have to use several physical cards in order to use multiple bankaccounts.

Example of proposed usage:
- I use several bunq accounts, some are dedicated for given expenses, others are shared accounts. In general, I'd need to switch accounts before paying in order to credit the correct account.
- Therefore, right before paying I regularly switch my tap & pay account to e.g. the shared account, but this juuuust takes to much time when the waiter is already on his/her way (or when I'm already at the cash register at the AH), making it a little clumsy. And I regularly forget to reset it to my private account after this incidental transaction from a shared account.
- Before paying, I tend to use the homescreen widget, which opens the app directly at the fingerprint screen.
- After scanning the fingerprint, I'm ready to tap the pin terminal (yellow screen I believe?). Why not add a (small) button to this screen, where I can select a different bank account for this specific transaction?
- After this transaction I suppose it'd be best if the related bank account is reverted to it's previous setting (i.e. the feature is meant to quickly pay once using another bank account).

Maybe later even several homescreen widgets can be used to pay from different accounts?

Thanks for sharing your idea 💡. I am a big fan of Tap&Pay and I use it every day! 👍 Works like a charm.

I love your idea 💡 of making it easier to switch monetary accounts before using Tap&Pay. So, big High Five 🙌 on that!

I know there was a similar idea 💡 somewhere on Together 🌈, but can't find anything either. So, lets discuss your idea right here!

For me it would help if a can.. lets say.. set 3-5 favorites. These will when ones appear as icon on the yellow Tap&Pay screen. Or the ability to make shortcuts.

I’ve got the same problem, but with Apple Pay which is separate from the bunq app (no interaction possible during transaction). Love to see a quick-switch widget, now it takes too many clicks to switch accounts (and too much time). But also ability to apply corrections to the transactions some short period after making them. This is really where an premium expensive fintech bank should come to the rescue.

The option to show some predefined favorite accounts is the best solution in my opinion.

I agree with the favorites suggestions, thanks for improving! And this feature would mostly be meant to quickly switch between two or three very frequently used bank accounts. However my purpose of quick switching would even be met without it (unless you really have >20 accounts, but then you can sort them right?). So no pressure bunq 👏

I assume that the screen is meant to be as "clean" as possible because when tapping the terminal (and touching the phone more or less randomly), you don't want to accidentally switch. So maybe a small button on the top right, just like the "back" button on the top left of the screen to trigger the quick switch? 👌

Same here ☝️ I couldn't find this idea so made a duplicate by mistake 😳 my problem is the same. I like to have a "tap and select the right account" feature on the tap and pay screen. I love to just have one card in my wallet! Now I have to bring 2 payment cards. 3 if I want to select the right account for different expenses.
I’ve already setup dual pin, but with my busses account switching the dual pin to an other private account just takes too long.

I have the same request. Can I have multiple Tap & Pay icons on my Android screen, that each match an account to be used?
