Anybody that has you in their contact list can add you. OR you can create your own Tribe and add people from your list. However, if they don't use the Easy Green plan, they won't be able to plant trees through purchases, they can only plant them through other means like inviting new users.

They're not completely public, true. But there's a Top 100 list that everyone can see and you could always ask people to join your tribe through Social Media or other public channels (including this forum).

Not really. The amount of trees is not different when you plant in a tribe. But you maybe have an additional feeling of working together to a certain goal. And you can see who plants the most trees from your friends and family at bunq.
