Though I do agree the design of the bunq card could be a bit more subtle, I don’t see the value of a metal card at all.
I believe @Ali already wrote that he thinks it is a bad idea because of the way it will affect the environment. I agree. If you want to be a ‘green bank’, you should produce as less plastic stuff as possible.
Also, I have a Mastercard and a maestro from bunq. Now, let’s be honest, I’ll use Mastercard only on travel. It’s a card that will never see much daylight. And so will be the metal card. The current card is good enough and I don’t see a reason to change that.
