I have transferred 25.000 € from my danish account and to Bunq account. But when i transferred the precise same amout back to my danish account, 25.000 €, then i got about 131 € less converted to DKK. And i know for a fact, that the danish national bank, keeps a fixed rate between € and DKK. So why is the same amount much less when i transfer from Bunq to my danish account, than when i made the transfer to Bunq?? In DKK the amount transfered to bung was 186.415 DKK = 25.000 €. And when i transfered 25.000 € back to my danish account 2 days later, the amount transfered was 185.441,25. That means, that i have lost 973,75 DKK = 131 € in just 2 days, and just by transferring money back

Erik Masao bunq doesn‘t convert money. So the incoming transfer was probably converted by your Danish bank. And the outgoing transfer possibly by using the Wise integration inside the bunq app. Could you check if that‘s the case?

Even with fixed exchange rates, Wise still takes conversion fees. I checked on their website, with 25000 Euros it is 0,41% as far as I can see. This is a bit less than 131 Euros, but in the same ball park. When you use the Wise integration in the bunq app, these fees are shown to you when sending the payment. So next time maybe just send a regular SEPA payment if your Danish bank accepts that.
