Sounds very interesting! How does this work? Does the app use the API on the device itself or does it get the data via - as you call it - app-servers, thus having transaction data passing through your systems?

All the other solutions have a collecting server which makes me hesitant about using those, hence build one myself but yours looks really slick 👍🏻

Timo N. 🇩🇪🇬🇧 Thanks Timo! In most cases the phone connects to bunq through a proxy server. This is mainly to normalise API responses to a bank-agnostic format. No transaction data is stored on the server itself though, it just acts as a 'tunnel'.

Phil Good question, I haven't tested that yet. I suppose it does as long as the bunq API returns these accounts.

About the joint accounts, please keep in mind that our API has a separate endpoint to fetch these: monetary-account-bank vs. monetary-account-joint.

Thijs Thanks for the heads up. I cannot find monetary-account-joint anywhere on doc.bunq.com. In fact, the description of /monetary-account (which I use) states "Currently the only MonetaryAccount type is MonetaryAccountBank." I assume this is outdated documentation then?

or you just use monetary-account endpoint and get all the MA's possible 😊

🚀 Update: Roll-out of the first beta has begun! 🎉

To make sure the servers are not overload and the catch any other problem, not everyone will be invited right away. Invites will be sent out in order of signup. So the first people who signed up will be the first to receive an invite. If you haven't received an invite yet, please sit tight :).

And of course thanks to everyone that signed up, looking forward to hearing what you guys think of the app.
