Gregory Goijaerts So is the word faggot. It’s got nothing to with sexuality yet it did become abusive slang. Or would you put a swastika in a company logo because it once meant prosperity, regardless of the war?
My point is not about color in general, it’s about how it has become a symbol for classification (and judging) of people based on their looks or origin. Not on who they are or how they behave, only their appearance.
And no I’m not ‘trying to find something to get offended over’, this is my personal opinion. It bothers me how cultural mistakes have become acceptable somehow. bunq is already on the trail of changing values, why not take it a little step further and include the industry’s practices in the quest? Just because the majority is used to black/whitelists and master/slave that doesn’t mean it should stay that way.
