You can currently not add you bunq maestro card to GPay and with the removal of the old tap and pay functionality of the bunq app, it means that I can no longer pay with my phone. Is there some plan to rectify this?
Stephen Did you try to add your Maestro card to Google Pay from the bunq app? I'm a Dutch bunq user, and I use my Maestro card from bunq with Google Pay almost every day.

Especially keep in mind:
If you want to be able to change cards, your can side load the old Google Pay app (https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-pay/google-pay-2-134-392709498-release/)
You can also change cards in the Settings without the app. Maybe it's easier to do with the old app, haven't tried it. Technically the app isn't needed for any of the functionality.
Thanks for all the suggestions but I do not get GPay as the default nfc app as an option. Bunq is selected and that is all I can select
Which Android are you using? Not all roms have google pay installed
It's possible. After talking to support three times, they finally made it work for me. I'm on Android, and I can use my Maestro card with Google Pay.
