Guest Access for Parents account 👨‍👩‍👧
In order for your child to enjoy a safe banking experience, parental approval is required to open a bank account for a minor. That’s why we ask your child to request your permission when they sign up.
If you already have a bunq account, you’ll receive a request in the bunq app - easy as that. Just respond to it and your child’s account will be active in 5 minutes!
If you don’t have a bunq account, you’ll receive an invite on your phone number or email address. Simply claim the invite to approve your child’s account and get Guest Parental Access to it. It’ll take only 5 minutes and is free of charge.
How does it work?
To approve your child’s account when you don’t have a bunq account, follow these easy steps:
- Your child sends an invite
- You receive the invite via SMS or email
- Click on the link and download the app
- Select “Try for free”
- Click on “Claim invite”
- Enter your email and phone number
- Start the parent verification flow
- Verify yourself
- You’re ready to go 🙌
