Cees Try another country‘s IBAN or complain to the authorities. Shouldn‘t be a valid reason for them not to accept it. But yeah, I would maybe first try with a Dutch bunq IBAN. When the direct debit arrives at your account you can always set it up so it actually gets debited from the sub-account with the Spanish IBAN instead.
