pl0x This thread refers to receiving payments from other people via bunq.me pages / payment requests. Maestro payments aren‘t accepted and Dutch banks generally don‘t issue Maestro cards to be used online.
Unrelated to this thread topic but because you asked: The bunq Mastercard is a real credit card. The money will get deducted from your account at time of payment, but only transferred to Mastercard once a month on the 1st. You will also still receive interest payments on the money that you have already spent until this monthly payment happens, as technically the money is still yours, bunq just doesn‘t allow you to spend it twice. Just because bunq has this mechanism in place, the card itself won‘t suddenly become a debit card.
