Indeed, you'll receive your refund! Even if the merchant has sent the refund to your canceled card, the refund will bounce to the billing sub-account related to the inactive card in question. You can always change the billing account of your card by following the easy and fast process explained here 🙌
The merchant sent my refund to my closed sub-account
In such case keep in mind that the funds will enter our system, but won't reach your account directly. In order for our relevant department to locate the refund for you and process it to your account, you'll need to contact Support (see how here) and provide the following info:
- ARN ID of the refund (can be requested and provided by the merchant)
- Active IBAN for refund
- Proof of IBAN ownership (eg. a bank statement or identical document would be sufficient)
Once provided, your case will be escalated to the relevant department and your refund will be processed to the IBAN you've provided as soon as possible - we'll make sure to update you on every step of the process.
