Waarom doet me pas het niet in de supermarkten?

Ik wilde pinnen bij de jumbo maar er staat ongeldige kaart. Bij een normale pin automaat kan ik wel pinnen. Hoe kan dit?

N I haven't been to Jumbo myself, but on their website it states:

In veel Jumbo-winkels kun je betalen met een creditcard. Dit zijn vooral winkels in het grensgebied of winkels in een toeristisch gebied. Bij een Pick Up Point kun je nog niet betalen met een creditcard.

Did you try paying with a Mastercard or with a Maestro card? bunq offers both types of card. Maybe the Jumbo that you visited accepts only Maestro cards.

I paid several times @ Jumbo with Maestro from bunq, Master Card Credit card from bunq and also with Amex (not bunq) using Apple Pay, swipe card physically and also using wireless payment with the physical card.
It must have been a temporary issue with Jumbo’s payment systems.
I would try again another time with bunq credit card (maybe ensure you have also your PIN / Maestro card with you just in case).

GG Yesterday I tried to pay in a Jumbo using my Metal Card, but the card was rejected. My Maestro card was working fine

GG Some Jumbo's support Matercard cards, and some of them don't.

This is from the Dutch Jumbo website:
"In veel Jumbo-winkels kun je betalen met een creditcard. Dit zijn vooral winkels in het grensgebied of winkels in een toeristisch gebied. Bij een Pick Up Point kun je nog niet betalen met een creditcard."
