why does this bank not send chargeback requests?

they just declined it. Mastercard offers chargeback protection but they won't send it.

M Chargeback request are only available at bunq if you're using the Easy Green subscription.

i never heard of this. can you tell me more? i saw you ca. for 50 euro send chargeback request to Mastercard, assuming bunq doesn't refuse to send it. not sure why though when a merchant does not respond or refund funds, the next step is to go to Mastercard. do you mean if you get the money or green account they will send the request and if not they will not allow you exercise chargeback rights? is that even allowed by mc? i thought any MasterCard user can send a chargeback request.

The Easy Green subscription is only necessary if you want Purchase Protection.

does bunq easy money also have this protection? it seems the problem is bunq does not send the request to Mastercard. not sure if this is even allowed to deny sending chargebacks directly to Mastercard but bunq is doing it nevertheless.

M Purchase Protection and Mastercard Chargeback are two separate things. Purchase Protection is only available on Easy Green and chargebacks are available for all bunq users.

If bunq doesn't send the refund request, I advice you to contact bunq support and ask if they need more information from your side.
