Benjamin-Olive-Butterfly In the Netherlands, the person's credit is seized at the bank. This therefore applies to all bank accounts with the same bank. The bank is obliged to pass on the total amount to the person who seizes. The amount that the bank must transfer is then viewed. This can be the full balance, but also a part. Of course, the bank charges the owner of the bank accounts here for costs that are adequate. At bunq costs 100 euros.
Please note: if money is added to your bank accounts after the seizure, that money does not fall under the seizure and you can therefore spend it.
Different rules apply when it comes to seizures of the (Dutch) national tax authorities, municipal tax authorities or water boards.
