📲 When this bug happens:
To Make Life Easy, we offer a wide variety of methods to add money to your account. Lately, some users are having issues using their card to top up.
🔎 How can I check if this is my case?
There are a few things to bear in mind before you try to top up with your Credit/Debit card:
There’s a fee of 0.5% for EEA cards
You can use a Visa or Mastercard from these countries. Only personal cards are accepted, not business/company cards 💳
After making sure that the card fits the criteria, you can follow these steps to try to top up. If you’re affected by the bug, an error message will appear and the money will not be transferred to your bunq account:
Go to the Home tab
Tap on Add Money
Select the account
Select Credit or Debit Card
Fill in your card number, expiry date and CVC
6. Tap on next
7. An error message appears saying "Something went wrong on bunq's side" and the top up is not processed correctly
