Transferred money from PayPal to Bunq

I did transfer money from PayPal to Bunq main account and it says completed however, the money isn’t visible in my Main account in Bunq and I don’t know why? I wonder what happened to my money and if this is really a legit bank account?

Charis Bank is an official bank from the Netherlands, with an official banking license.

You did a transfer, but probably it wasn't an Instant Payment transfer (which arrives on your account immediately) but a regular SEPA transaction. These take 1-2 business days to arrive.

PayPal reports clearly it will take at least 2 working days at least for SEPA transfers.

I think bunq has an issue, a lot of people are waiting on transfers without anything showing up. I have two that are well past due and bunq claims there’s no record of any transfer at all. Contact them, something is definitely wrong.

Amina-Nasree I've only seen a handful people waiting on transfers from the Deutsche Bank in the last few days, nothing else.

A lot of other posts are about people expecting a non-Instant Payment to arrive immediately, but a SEPA transfer takes 1-2 business days.

I have 0 issues with transfers at the moment, everything is working as it should.

If you contact the sending bank to get the transaction ID and send it to bunq, then they can start an investigation. None of my payments has disappeared in the 4 years that I've been a bunq customer, sometimes only delayed for 1-2 business days.

I agree Thijs with you,
I had been using bunq 🌈 as my solely bank provider since 4 years and never had problems with money transfers missing or lost.
My expectations on instant transfers are probably set to the lower side as I know not all banks in EU offer it or if they do it is not yet up to speed properly, especially when expecting transfers from traditional banks or countries with less sophisticated financial processes which are catching up.
