I’ve just opened a business account and the bank want me to put in my tax identification number. However, the system doesn’t accept the number I put in. I have spoken to our accountant who says it should accept our French Siret/siren number which is 13 characters long. The psi number it seems to be asking for is my personal taxation number. As this is a professional and not a personal account that shouldn’t be necessary. Can’t discover how to just talk to the bank about this, so in desperation I’m posting here. Without this number, it seems I can’t proceed with the account.
