just wanted to check with others if you had any issue with opening a bunq Spanish IBAN account.
I managed to get the new Spanish IBAN sub account activated and up and running (included verifications) in less than 20 minutes.
Dutch π³π± bunq account. Dutch π³π± resident with EU citizenship (not Spanish πͺπΈ).
Used EU non Dutch and non Spanish passport for verification as per bunq instructions for Spanish IBAN.
- - requested via App the new Spanish IBAN sub account β
- - switched immediately to the verification process with less than a minute waiting time to be connected to the operator for video call in App β
- - passed ID validations with in 5 minutes β
- - then the App returns to the bunq systems and I get the validation confirmation on screen. At this point the flow gets kind of stuck as when I click on continue it refreshes the page and does not go any further and neither the App tells me to wait π
- - I closed the App and after few minutes I got the in App notification that the validations were completed, but no sign of the new sub account in the App π
- - I then started again with adding a Spanish IBAN sub account, and right away I got to the screen where I could change the icon and give a name to the new sub account β
Over all I managed to create the sub account with its great Spanish πͺπΈ IBAN but point 4 and subsequents were really a work around as the flow gets stuck.. or at least the on screen info are not really clear on what to do.. wait there.. wait for a notification or email.
I am not sure if I should open a support ticket for this as I do not have a problem.. I managed.. but the process is not so smooth as I would expect.
