At least the option to pick different designs to differentiate cards, because the current cards are way to similar.

But custom images would be the best solution.

I think it's a good idea because I find the visual differents between cards to little at this point.

I would like to have the option to customize my card or pick another color scheme. I think the current card looks a bit.. Childish maybe.. I prefer a card with darker colors.

I got many compliments on the card design. One merchant in Sillicon Valley commented “European bank cards are always sooooo cool, we only have boring cards”.

Until yesterday I only did use one card, but as of today I found some use for my second Maestro card. But I already noticed that is hard quick grab the right card because the look basically the same. Would be nice if there were some color coding options in the future. For now I solved it by using a small sticker :)

This should be on the to-do-list on Bunq's trello board, not on the wishlist 😃. Why?

Because when you own the max amount of 3 cards and open your wallet to choose the right card, you will have to take a really good look to distinguish the rainbow-colored cards...

Besides, I remember I was able to print a full image on my SNS Bank cards 3 or 4 years ago. Why would this be something big for Bunq? A little variation in the styling of cards can't hurt :)

Pay Me Dazu kommt, dass im Appel Pay die Karten auch komplett gleich aussehen und es an der Apple Watch nervt die richtige Karte auszuwählen. Bitte umsetzen!!!

Yes, when i was at postbank as I child, I remember they were the first ones in the Netherlands, and Europe to even offer this for 10,-€ then they merged with ING years ago and I also got a new card with a custom image. Shame the other bank I'm with still with doesn't offer this. (ABN AMRO)

I know it will probably not happen in the near future, but I would like some custom design on my card. 😇
For bunq the rainbow cards are a form of free advertisement, so they probably won't get rid of them. 🌈

So I made a quick mockup of what custom bunq cards could look like. The bottom side of the card would stay the same, the bunq rainbow we've got to know and love, while the top square part (Instagram like) would be your personal canvas, which you could decorate with the picture of your choosing. 🖼

p.s.: My girlfriend uses her Rabobank card mostly because she thinks its too annoying her 2 bunq cards look so much a like. 🤷‍♀️
And even I always check check double check when I can't use Apple Pay and draw my 🌈 cards out. It's a must-have in my opinion. Not even thinking about those around with private and business accounts 😝

John Do My biggest problem with custom images is the quality: it’s a complete different (printing) technique for applying the artwork compared to what is on a standard card.

Realizing this mock-up would mean that the bunq colors would also be printed differently and will absolutely show in the lower quality. I know this from professional experience (we deal with the same issues on SIM cards that we order for our customers that sometimes require small volumes that can’t be printed in the factory) and also personal experience (I tested this with ING).

What I AM really bothered by is the fact you can’t label cards in ApplePay. If you have multiple AP enabled cards they look identical besides 4 digits. There is no way to label them in your wallet. But this is an Apple issue that bunq has no control over 🙄

I would still prefer something like @W. Janson-Korhorn made but if printquality is a big no no then maybe choosing one of the pre-fabric bunq colors in combination with the 🌈 ?

Gives a clear view at what card to flaunt at the cashier's desk☺️.

Or maybe inspired by the Apple Pay bunq card.

Tim bare with me guys, it's my day off today :) But maybe I will cook something up tonight :) I do have an idea already in my head. It is difficult because we don't want to alter the cool rainbow 🌈 design too much

I love the rainbow design. Every time I pay with my card I get asked what bank this is because I have such a fancy card. I would be onboard if you could make simply changes to the design but overall I feel bunq cards should look more or less the same. 🤪
