I'm in doubt if I should make a separate topic about this, because this is a bit off topic.. because it isnt about putting your own image on the card.

John Do Why not? It’s not custom, just a redesign for better recognizable cards when having multiple.

ps. Just got a complaint from my GF, she also like this but it's just for "men wallets" (secrid) and not for horizontal woman wallets. I have a secrid though so.. 😅

John Do Like this, just would like the color band a bit bigger (like 2cm), and to choose colors out of like 8 colors or something.

Ruben Hmm, I think a bigger band is good suggestion! I'm in some doubt about choosing colors tho. From a users 👥 perspective I fully agree with you. But I can imagine it can be expensive if bunq has to order a large amount cards in various colors without knowing which colors will sell the most. 🤔

John Do As the bank of the free I would like to be free to choose my color, but since bunq probably can’t have all colors it could limit to 8 for example. And if its out of stock, then don’t show it as an option ;)

Ik like your design, specially the different band colors. I do have trouble with the place of the chip on the future card. On the current card It is more logical to me.

John Do Deze kleine gekleurde band is nog steeds het beste. Heb net gekleurde tape gehaald voor aan de bovenkant. Ziet er prima uit ;)

Arjan But then all the text would be upside down, so it still kind of comes down to whether you want the chip at the “top” or the “bottom” ;)

Custom cards are definitely needed to identity quick and easy the meaning of different accounts in Apple Wallet. I have currently six cards in Wallet, they all looks like the same and I need to remember with the last four digits of the cards for what purpose and which account this is assigned. That shit drives me crazy and with different card layouts such a mess would be very easy to handle.
Or at least, when handing over the card covers to wallet there should be within bunq a way to enter a text that is shown on the card.

Munich MindTime eG I agree it is not very helpful that all cards look the same. But you can take a big black pen and write something on the cards or get some stickers and apply them to your cards.

You can actually already type in a text that is printed on the card, but it's printed somewhere on the back and thus not very helpful when you can only see the top bit of the card in your wallet.
